Ferry services between Ammochostos /Gazimagusa /Famagusta and Lebanese port city of Tripoli
News that are bound to create an immediate fury in Cyprus.
Ferry services between the occupied city of Ammochostos /Gazimagusa /Famagusta and the Lebanese port city of Tripoli have reportedly begun, in violation of international law and many regional treaties between neighbouring countries.
At this moment it is not clear if the news are of a real event or of an attempt by the occupation regime to gauge the reaction of the neo-colonial puppet regime that rules the Republic of Cyprus. We republish a news item from unverified sources, below, in the hope that things will become more clear very soon.

Ferry services have begun between Gazimagusa port of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and Lebanese port city of Tripoli. First Turkish-flagged boat docks Lebanese port after 100 years

Ferry services have begun between Gazimagusa port of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and Lebanese port city of Tripoli.
A ceremony was held in Tripoli on Tuesday to mark the launch of ferry services.
A Turkish-flagged passenger boat has docked at the port of Tripoli for the first time after 100 years, Turkish Ambassador to Lebanon told the ceremony.
Lebanon has been the second country in East Mediterranean, after Syria, that launched ferry services with TRNC's Gazimagusa, Ambassador Serdar Kilic said.
The ferryboat departed from Gazimagusa and sailed to Syria's Latakia. The boat later proceeded to Lebanon's Tripoli.
TRNC and Syria launched ferry services between Gazimagusa and Latakia two years ago.
